By public transport:

From the city center (Bertholdsbrunnen) or from the main station take the Line 1 in the direction of ‘Landwasser’ to the stop ‘Paduallee’. From there walk (first back) over the bridge and then turn left into Sigsteinstrasse, which leads to Windausstrasse.

By car:

From the A5:
Exit FREIBURG MITTE, direction FREIBURG/TITISEE-NEUSTADT on the feeder road. Second exit LEHEN/BETZENHAUSEN (P+R) direction Betzenhausen, at the traffic light turn right into SUNDGAUALLEE (direction Stadtmitte), after 80 m (traffic light) turn left into HOFACKERSTRASSE, first street left, HUSSERLSTRASSE, second side street WINDAUSSTRASSE, at the end of which is the institute.

From the Black Forest or Freiburg-Innenstadt:
Highway feeder Mitte direction west, exit OFFENBURG/FR-LANDWASSER, FREIBURG-BETZENHAUSEN, then exit LEHEN-BETZENHAUSEN (P+R) direction Betzenhausen, turn right into Sundgauallee (direction city center), after 80m (traffic light) turn left into HOFACKERSTRASSE, first street left, HUSSERLSTRASSE, second side street WINDAUSSTRASSE, at the end of which is the Institute.
